About

Valanext 1000 from Mankind is an antiviral tablet containing valacyclovir. It is commonly used to treat or suppress infections caused by herpes viruses, including cold sores, genital herpes, and shingles.

How it works

Once swallowed, valacyclovir is converted in the body to aciclovir, which blocks the herpes virus from copying its DNA. This helps the body bring the outbreak under control faster.

Swallow the tablet whole with water, as prescribed by your doctor. Drink plenty of water during the course to support the kidneys.
