Grisolab 10 tab

Grisolab from GPK is an antifungal tablet that contains Griseofulvin. It is used for long-standing fungal infections of the skin, hair and nails caused by dermatophyte fungi.

• Ringworm of the body, scalp or groin
• Athlete's foot
• Fungal nail infections
• Other dermatophyte infections as advised

Griseofulvin is an antifungal that gets deposited in newly forming skin, hair and nails. It interferes with the growth of fungal cells, so as old infected skin and nails are shed, the new ones grow in healthy and clear of fungus.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually after a fatty meal as this improves absorption. Treatment often runs for several weeks; do not stop early even if the rash looks better.

• Sensitivity to sunlight

Tell your doctor about liver disease, porphyria, lupus or any allergy. Avoid alcohol during the course. Use reliable contraception during and for some time after treatment; pregnant women should not take this medicine. Avoid strong sun exposure as the skin can become more sensitive.

Store below 25°C in a dry place, away from direct sunlight. Keep the strip sealed and out of reach of children.
