About
Montair LC Kid from Cipla combines Montelukast 4 mg with Levocetirizine 2.5 mg in a child-friendly chewable strength. Montelukast is a leukotriene receptor antagonist and Levocetirizine is a non-drowsy antihistamine.
Uses
- Allergic rhinitis in children
- Sneezing, runny or blocked nose
- Cough and wheeze triggered by allergens
- Mild allergic asthma
- Itchy, watery eyes from allergy
How it works
Montelukast blocks leukotrienes that tighten the airways. Levocetirizine blocks histamine, the chemical behind sneezing and itching. Together they ease allergy symptoms from both angles.
