Alex Lozenges from Glenmark contain Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide 5 mg in a sweet, throat-soothing tablet. They are commonly used for a dry, tickling cough.

How it works
Dextromethorphan acts on the cough reflex centre in the brain and reduces the urge to cough. Sucking the lozenge also coats the throat, calming the irritation that triggers coughing.
How to take
Use as advised by your doctor. Let the lozenge dissolve slowly in your mouth — do not chew or swallow it whole.
