About
Alertiz 5 mg contains Levocetirizine, a newer and more refined form of Cetirizine. It treats common allergy symptoms with less drowsiness for most people.
Uses
- Sneezing, runny or blocked nose
- Watery, itchy eyes
- Chronic hives and skin itching
- Hay fever and dust allergy
How it works
Levocetirizine selectively blocks the H1 histamine receptor — the on-switch for allergy symptoms. By keeping that switch off, sneezing, itching and tears settle down.
How to take
Adults and children above 6 usually take one tablet at night with water. For younger children, pregnancy or kidney issues, follow your doctor's advice.

Precautions
Avoid alcohol while on this medicine. Be cautious with driving until you know how it affects you. Tell your doctor about kidney problems, pregnancy or breastfeeding. Do not exceed one tablet a day.
