Alkof Orange Syrup 100 ml

Alkof Orange Syrup from Alkem is an orange-flavoured cough syrup that combines a mucus-thinning agent, an expectorant, a bronchodilator and a touch of menthol for a soothing effect.

• Wet cough with chest congestion
• Cough with thick sticky phlegm
• Mild bronchospasm and wheeze
• Cough linked to bronchitis

Bromhexine breaks down thick mucus. Guaiphenesin helps the loosened mucus come out with each cough. Terbutaline opens narrowed air tubes. Menthol gives a cool soothing feel to the throat.

As prescribed by your doctor. Shake well before use. Measure dose with the cap. Drink warm water afterwards.

• Mild tremor of hands
• Slight fast heartbeat
• Nausea or stomach upset
• Headache in a few people

Avoid in people with severe heart problems or thyroid disease unless doctor approves. Do not combine with other cough syrups or asthma syrups without advice.

Keep below 25°C in a cool, dry place. Tighten cap firmly after use. Do not refrigerate.
