Mahaflox 400 5 Tab

Mahaflox 400 from Mankind contains Moxifloxacin, a fourth-generation fluoroquinolone antibiotic. It is a prescription medicine used for serious bacterial infections.

• Respiratory tract infections such as bronchitis and pneumonia
• Sinus infections
• Certain skin and soft tissue infections

Moxifloxacin blocks bacterial enzymes called DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV. Bacteria cannot copy or repair their DNA without them, which stops the infection from spreading.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, with or without food. Drink plenty of water through the day and finish the full course even if you feel better quickly.

• Nausea or diarrhoea
• Dizziness or headache
• Sleep disturbances
• Rare tendon pain or palpitations

Not suited for people with a history of tendon problems, certain heart-rhythm conditions, or epilepsy. Avoid antacids and iron close to dosing time, and tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Store below 25°C in a dry place, away from direct light. Keep out of reach of children.
