Metrogyl 2% gel from JB Chemicals is a topical form of metronidazole used directly on the skin or wounds. The gel base is soothing and absorbs well.

Metronidazole works against the kinds of bacteria that thrive without much oxygen — often the cause of foul-smelling wounds. It damages their DNA so they can't survive, helping the area heal cleaner.

Clean the affected area gently, then apply a thin layer as prescribed by your doctor. Wash hands before and after use. Avoid covering with airtight dressings unless advised.

Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and inner nose. Tell your doctor if you're pregnant or breastfeeding. Don't apply on broken skin without medical guidance.
