Omnix-100 Dry Syrup from Cipla contains cefixime, a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic in a child-friendly liquid form.

• Bacterial infections of the throat, ear, and chest
• Urinary tract infections in children

Cefixime blocks the enzymes bacteria use to build their cell walls, weakening the wall until the bug bursts and the infection clears.

Use as prescribed by your doctor. Reconstitute with the marked amount of cool boiled water, shake well, and use the measuring cap for each dose. Complete the full course.

• Loose stools, nausea, or stomach upset
• Rash or, rarely, allergic reaction

Tell your doctor about any penicillin or cephalosporin allergy. Use the suspension within 14 days of mixing.

Store the dry powder below 25°C. After mixing, refrigerate and discard any leftover after 14 days.
