Niftran 100 from Sun Pharma is a Nitrofurantoin capsule used to treat urine infections in adults. It is a well-known prescription brand for short courses against common urinary germs.

Nitrofurantoin reaches high concentration in the urine. It interferes with the bacterial enzymes, DNA, and cell wall building, so the bacteria stop growing and are flushed out as you pass urine.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, with food or milk to reduce nausea. Drink plenty of fluids and complete the full course, even if you feel better in a day or two.
