Citraderm OC from Prevego is a multi-action skin cream that combines an antibiotic, an antiprotozoal, an antifungal and a mild steroid. It is used for stubborn skin patches where infection and inflammation appear together.

Ofloxacin tackles bacteria by blocking DNA copying, Ornidazole acts on certain anaerobic bugs and protozoa, Terbinafine breaks the fungal cell wall, and Clobetasol — a potent steroid — calms redness and itch. Together they cover several causes of a troubled skin patch.

Apply a thin layer on the affected area as prescribed by your doctor. Wash and dry the area first. Use for the shortest possible duration.

Do not use on the face, groin, underarms or in children unless your doctor specifically advises. Avoid eyes, mouth and open wounds. Inform your doctor about pregnancy or breastfeeding. Stop and consult if irritation worsens.
