About
Refresh Tears Eye Drops from AbbVie (Allergan) contain Carboxymethylcellulose Sodium as a lubricant. They are used as artificial tears to soothe dry, tired eyes.

How it works
Carboxymethylcellulose Sodium acts like artificial tears. It forms a thin moist layer over the eye surface, easing dryness, friction and irritation.
How to take
Use as prescribed by your doctor or as printed on the pack. Wash your hands, tilt the head back and gently place a drop in the eye. Blink to spread the liquid. Do not touch the dropper to the eye or fingers.
Side effects
- Mild stinging
- Brief blurring of vision
- Watery eyes
- Slight redness in some people
Precautions
Do not share the bottle. Remove soft contact lenses before use unless your doctor advises otherwise. If pain, sudden vision change or severe redness appears, stop and see a doctor.
Storage
Store below 25°C, away from direct sunlight. Discard one month after first opening. Keep the cap tightly closed and out of reach of children.
