About
Optibex Lube Eye Drops from Alkem contain Carboxymethylcellulose Sodium, a tear-substitute polymer. The drops soothe dryness in the eyes.
Uses

How it works
Carboxymethylcellulose forms a smooth, water-holding layer on the eye surface. This mimics natural tears, keeps the eye moist for longer, and reduces the gritty, tired feeling.
How to take
Use as advised by your doctor or as on the label. Tilt the head back, pull the lower lid down, place one or two drops in each eye and blink gently. Avoid touching the dropper to the eye or lid.
Side effects
- Brief blur right after the drop
- Mild stinging
- Watery eyes for a short time
- Rare redness
Precautions
Tell your doctor if you have an eye infection or recent eye surgery. Remove contact lenses before use and wait before putting them back if advised. Stop if pain, strong redness or vision changes occur.
Storage
Store below 25 degrees C in a dry place, away from sunlight. Discard one month after opening or as on the label. Keep out of reach of children.
