About
Oflox Eye/Ear Drops from Cipla contain ofloxacin, a fluoroquinolone antibiotic. They're used for bacterial infections of the eyes or ears.
Uses
- Bacterial conjunctivitis
- Outer ear infections
- Corneal ulcers from bacteria
How it works
Ofloxacin stops bacteria from making new DNA, helping clear infection locally without much absorption into the body.
How to take
Use as prescribed by your doctor. Wash your hands first, tilt the head, and avoid letting the dropper touch the eye, ear, or any surface.
Side effects
- Brief stinging or burning
- Mild itching
- Temporary blurred vision (eye use)
Precautions
Don't wear contact lenses while treating eye infections. Tell your doctor if symptoms worsen or don't improve in a few days.
