Obra Eye Oint 3 gm

Obra Eye Ointment from Syntho Pharmaceuticals contains tobramycin 0.3%, an aminoglycoside antibiotic in ointment form. It treats bacterial infections of the eye and eyelids, such as conjunctivitis and blepharitis.

Tobramycin stops bacteria from making the proteins they need to survive, so the infection clears.

Use as prescribed by your doctor. Typically a small ribbon of ointment is placed inside the lower eyelid — wash hands first, do not let the tube tip touch the eye, and complete the full course even if the eye looks better.

Do not wear contact lenses during treatment. Avoid driving immediately after applying while vision is blurry. It works only on bacterial infections, not viral or fungal ones. Use within 4 weeks of opening the tube. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant. Available only with a valid prescription.
