Milflodex Eye Drop 5 ml

Milflodex Eye Drop from Sun Pharmaceutical Industries blends moxifloxacin, a fluoroquinolone antibiotic, with dexamethasone, a corticosteroid. The combination targets both eye infection and the inflammation that comes with it.

• Treats bacterial eye infections with associated inflammation
• Used after certain eye surgeries to prevent infection and reduce swelling
• Helpful for inflammatory conditions of the front of the eye

Moxifloxacin blocks enzymes that bacteria need to copy their DNA, stopping the infection. Dexamethasone is a corticosteroid that calms the immune response in the eye, easing redness, swelling and discomfort.

Instil into the affected eye as prescribed by your doctor. Wash hands first and avoid touching the dropper tip to the eye.

• Brief stinging or burning on instillation
• Blurred vision for a few minutes
• Eye irritation or redness
• Possible rise in eye pressure with prolonged use

Not for use in viral or fungal eye infections. Tell your doctor about glaucoma, recent eye surgery, contact lens use or any allergies before starting.

Store below 25 degrees Celsius, away from light. Discard one month after opening and keep out of reach of children.
