About
Ciplox D from Cipla is a combination eye drop that brings together an antibiotic and a steroid. It is used for short-term care of eye infections with swelling.
Uses
- Bacterial eye infections with inflammation
- Redness, itching and watering
- Post-surgery eye care
- Inflamed conjunctivitis
How it works
Ciprofloxacin kills bacteria in the eye, while dexamethasone reduces swelling, redness and discomfort in the eye tissue at the same time.
How to take
Wash your hands well. Tilt the head back, pull the lower lid down and put 1-2 drops in the eye as prescribed by your doctor. Avoid touching the tip.
Side effects
- Brief burning or stinging
- Blurred vision for a moment
- Eye irritation or itching
- Bitter taste in mouth
Precautions
Use only as long as advised by your doctor. Not for viral or fungal eye infections. Remove contact lenses before use. Long use needs eye pressure checks.
Storage
Store below 25 degrees C in a cool, dry place. Discard one month after first opening. Keep out of children's reach.
