Gudcef Drops 25mg 10 ml

Gudcef Drops from Mankind is a paediatric oral antibiotic with Cefpodoxime Proxetil. It is designed for infants and small babies and is widely prescribed for everyday bacterial infections.

Cefpodoxime Proxetil is converted inside the body to Cefpodoxime, a third-generation cephalosporin. It stops bacteria from forming a strong cell wall, so they break down and the infection clears up. The dropper allows accurate dosing for very small children.

Give as prescribed by your doctor. Shake the bottle well before each dose and use the dropper that comes with the pack. Giving after a feed often reduces stomach upset. Complete the full course even if the baby seems better.

• Diarrhoea or loose stools

Inform the doctor about any allergy to penicillin or cephalosporins, kidney issues, jaundice or prolonged diarrhoea. Do not mix into a full milk bottle. Report any severe rash, breathing difficulty or persistent diarrhoea immediately.

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place. After reconstitution, follow the time mentioned on the pack, keep the cap tightly closed, away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children.
