Advent Forte 457 mg Syrup 60 ml

Advent Forte Syrup from Cipla is a stronger paediatric antibiotic syrup with Amoxycillin and Clavulanic Acid. It is commonly prescribed for school-going children with bacterial infections that need a higher dose.

Amoxycillin kills bacteria by damaging the wall around them. Clavulanic acid stops the bacterial enzyme called beta-lactamase, which normally weakens Amoxycillin, so the antibiotic stays strong against tougher bugs.

Give as prescribed by your doctor. Shake the bottle well, measure with the cup or spoon provided, and give after a small meal to reduce stomach upset. Complete the full course.

Avoid if the child has a known penicillin allergy. Inform the doctor about any liver or kidney trouble. Stop and call the doctor if the child develops breathing difficulty, swelling of face, or severe diarrhoea.

Keep below 25°C in a dry place. Once reconstituted with water, use within 7 days and keep the bottle closed. Do not freeze.
