Taxim O CV Dry Syrup 30 ml

Taxim O CV Dry Syrup from Alkem combines cefixime (a third-generation cephalosporin) with clavulanic acid (a beta-lactamase inhibitor). It is reconstituted with water and given to children for bacterial infections. Supplied as a 30 ml bottle.

• Throat, ear, and sinus infections in children
• Lower respiratory tract infections
• Urinary tract infections

Cefixime breaks down the bacterial cell wall while clavulanic acid blocks enzymes that some bacteria use to resist the antibiotic, allowing cefixime to work against a wider range of bugs.

Reconstitute with the marked volume of cooled, boiled water. Shake well before each dose and give as prescribed by your doctor using the measuring cup provided.

Tell your doctor about any penicillin or cephalosporin allergy, liver or kidney issues, or other medicines your child takes. Discard any leftover syrup after the prescribed days.

Store the dry powder below 25°C, away from light. After mixing, refrigerate and use within the time on the label. Keep out of reach of children.
