About
Mahacef 100 from Mankind contains Cefixime, a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic. It is a prescription medicine used for bacterial infections.
Uses
- Bacterial infections of the throat and sinuses
- Urinary tract infections
- Certain chest and ear infections
How it works
Cefixime interferes with the building of the bacterial cell wall. Without an intact wall, the bacteria cannot survive, which helps clear the infection.
How to take
Take as prescribed by your doctor, with or without food. Try to space the doses evenly through the day and finish the full course even if you start feeling better.
