Gramocef-O 400DT

Gramocef-O 400DT from Microlab is a dispersible antibiotic tablet that contains Cefixime. It belongs to the third-generation cephalosporin family and is widely prescribed for common bacterial infections.

• Throat and tonsil infections
• Ear and sinus infections
• Chest and bronchial infections
• Urinary tract infections
• Some intestinal infections like typhoid

Cefixime stops bacteria from building the protective wall around them. Without this wall, the bacteria cannot survive and the infection clears up. The dispersible tablet melts quickly in water, which makes it easier for children and the elderly to take.

Take as prescribed by your doctor. Drop the tablet in a small amount of water, let it disperse, then drink fully. Finish the entire course even if symptoms improve early.

• Loose stools or diarrhoea
• Nausea or stomach pain
• Mild rash
• Headache

Tell your doctor about any penicillin or cephalosporin allergy, kidney problems, or long-standing stomach disorders. Avoid self-medication and do not share the strip with someone else.

Store below 25°C in a dry place, away from direct sunlight. Keep the strip in the original pack and out of reach of children.
