Odoxil 250 DT

Odoxil 250 DT (Dispersible Tablet) from Lupin contains Cefadroxil, a first-generation cephalosporin antibiotic. The DT form makes it easy to give to children as it dissolves quickly in water.

• Throat and tonsil infection
• Skin and soft-tissue infection
• Urinary tract infection
• Ear infection

Cefadroxil breaks the cell wall that bacteria build around themselves. Without a strong wall, the bacteria cannot survive and the infection clears up.

Give as prescribed by your doctor. Dissolve the tablet in a small amount of water and drink right away. Can be given with or without food. Finish the full course even if symptoms improve early.

• Loose motions or stomach upset
• Nausea or vomiting
• Mild skin rash
• Headache
• Vaginal or oral thrush

Tell the doctor about penicillin allergy, kidney problems or any previous antibiotic-related diarrhoea. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should use only on doctor's advice. Stop and call the doctor if breathing difficulty, swelling or severe rash appears.

Store below 25°C in a dry place. Keep in the original strip. Keep out of reach of children.
