Ciplox OZ

Ciplox-OZ from Cipla is a combination antibiotic tablet that treats mixed infections of the gut, often used for diarrhoea with both bacteria and parasites.

• Loose motions with infection
• Dysentery and amoebic infections
• Mixed gut infections
• Some abdominal infections

Ciprofloxacin kills a wide range of bacteria, while ornidazole acts on protozoa and anaerobic bacteria, giving a broad cover for stubborn gut infections.

Swallow with water after food as prescribed by your doctor. Drink plenty of fluids. Complete the full course, even if symptoms settle in a day or two.

• Nausea or metallic taste
• Loose motions or stomach upset
• Headache or mild dizziness
• Skin rash sometimes

Avoid alcohol while on the tablet and for a few days after. Tell your doctor about liver or nerve issues. Not advised in early pregnancy without doctor's review.

Store below 25 degrees C in the original strip, in a dry place away from sunlight. Keep out of children's reach.
