Wormdom Plus

Womdom Plus from Anglo-French Drugs is a combination deworming tablet with ivermectin and albendazole. It covers a wider range of worms than albendazole alone.

• Mixed intestinal worm infections
• Roundworm, hookworm, pinworm and threadworm
• Cases where broader cover is needed

Albendazole starves worms by blocking their sugar uptake. Ivermectin paralyses certain worms by acting on their nerve and muscle channels. Together they target a wider variety of worms.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually as a single dose. Swallow with water, with or after a light meal. Family members may also be advised to take a dose to prevent re-infection.

• Mild stomach upset
• Nausea or loose stools
• Headache or tiredness

Not generally recommended in pregnancy or in very young children unless your doctor advises. Tell your doctor about liver problems and any regular medicines. Maintain good hand and toilet hygiene.

Store the strip in a cool, dry place below 25 degree Celsius, away from children.
