Moxikind-CV 1 gm

Moxikind-CV 1 gm tablets from Mankind Pharma combine a high dose of amoxicillin, a penicillin-class antibiotic, with clavulanic acid, a beta-lactamase inhibitor. The 1 gm strength is commonly used for adult bacterial infections.

• Severe throat, sinus and ear infections
• Lower respiratory tract infections
• Urinary tract and kidney infections
• Skin, soft tissue and dental infections

Amoxicillin attacks the bacterial cell wall, causing the bacteria to rupture. Clavulanic acid blocks bacterial enzymes that would otherwise destroy amoxicillin, widening its effect.

Swallow with a glass of water as prescribed by your doctor. Taking it at the start of a meal can reduce stomach discomfort. Complete the full course.

• Diarrhoea
• Nausea or vomiting
• Skin rash or itching
• Headache or dizziness

Not for people allergic to penicillins or cephalosporins. Mention any past liver problems with antibiotics. Inform the doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Store below 25 degrees Celsius in a dry place. Keep tablets in the original blister until use. Keep out of reach of children.
