Novamox-500

Novamox-500 from Cipla contains Amoxicillin, a penicillin-group antibiotic. It is used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections.

• Throat, ear, and sinus infections
• Chest and lung infections
• Urinary tract and skin infections

Amoxicillin attaches to proteins in the bacterial cell wall and stops the wall from forming properly. The weakened wall breaks, the bacteria burst, and the infection clears up.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, with water, before or after food. Space doses evenly through the day and complete the full course even if you feel better in a few days.

• Skin rash
• Mild abdominal discomfort

Tell your doctor if you are allergic to penicillin or any antibiotic, or if you have kidney disease, mononucleosis, or are pregnant. Stop and seek help for severe rash, swelling of face, or trouble breathing.

Store below 25 degrees C in a dry, shaded place. Keep capsules in the original strip and out of reach of children.
