Cortecycline Eye Oint 3 gm

Cortecycline Eye Ointment from Syntho Pharmaceuticals combines Tetracycline, an antibiotic, with Hydrocortisone, a mild steroid. It is used for eye problems where both infection and inflammation need treatment.

• Bacterial eye infections with inflammation
• Inflamed eyelid margins (blepharitis) with infection
• Other eye conditions as advised by an eye doctor

Tetracycline stops bacteria from making the proteins they need to multiply, helping clear the infection. Hydrocortisone eases redness, swelling and itching by calming the local immune response in the eye tissues.

Apply a small ribbon of ointment inside the lower eyelid as prescribed by your doctor. Wash hands before and after use, and avoid touching the tube tip to the eye or any surface.

• Eye irritation or redness
• Raised eye pressure with long use

Use only under an eye doctor's supervision and not for viral or fungal eye infections. Long-term use can affect eye pressure and lens clarity. Remove contact lenses before applying unless told otherwise.

Store below 25°C, away from sunlight. Discard one month after opening and keep out of children's reach.
