Latoprost 0.005%

Latoprost is a prescription eye drop from Sun Pharma containing latanoprost, a prostaglandin analogue used to lower raised pressure inside the eye.

• Helps lower raised eye pressure
• Used in open-angle glaucoma
• Used in ocular hypertension

Latanoprost improves the natural outflow of fluid from inside the eye, lowering the pressure that can damage the optic nerve if left untreated.

Use as prescribed by your doctor, usually one drop in the affected eye(s) in the evening. Wash hands first, tilt your head back, gently pull down the lower lid and place the drop, then close the eye for a minute.

• Eye redness or mild stinging
• Darkening of the iris or eyelid skin
• Increased length or thickness of eyelashes

Do not let the dropper tip touch the eye or any surface to avoid contamination. Remove contact lenses before use and wait as advised before reinserting. Tell your doctor about other eye drops or eye conditions.

Store unopened bottles in a refrigerator as per the label. After opening, follow leaflet instructions for use period and temperature. Keep out of reach of children.
