Lumigan 0.01%

Lumigan 0.01% from AbbVie is a prescription eye drop used for raised eye pressure. The lower 0.01% strength is designed to be gentler on the eye surface.

• Open-angle glaucoma
• Raised intra-ocular pressure (ocular hypertension)
• Long-term eye pressure control

Bimatoprost is a prostaglandin analogue. It increases the outflow of fluid from the eye, lowering pressure inside the eyeball and helping protect the optic nerve over time.

Use as prescribed by your doctor. Tilt your head back, pull down the lower lid and place one drop in the affected eye, usually in the evening. Avoid touching the dropper tip to the eye.

• Eye redness
• Itching or stinging
• Darkening of eyelid skin
• Longer, darker eyelashes
• Mild blurred vision

Remove contact lenses before use and wait 15 minutes before re-inserting. Tell your doctor about any eye infection, recent eye surgery or other eye drops you use.

Store below 25 degrees C, away from light. Once opened, use within the period your pharmacist tells you and keep the bottle tightly closed.
