Product information
About
Dorzox T Eye Drop from Cipla is a combination eye drop with Dorzolamide and Timolol. It is prescribed when one medicine alone is not enough to control raised eye pressure in glaucoma.
Uses
- Open-angle glaucoma
- Ocular hypertension
- Long-term eye-pressure control
How it works
Dorzolamide blocks carbonic anhydrase inside the eye, lowering the production of aqueous fluid. Timolol, a beta blocker, also reduces fluid formation. Together they lower eye pressure and protect the optic nerve.
How to take
Use as prescribed by your doctor. Wash your hands, tilt your head back, pull down the lower lid, and put one drop into the eye. Close the eye for a minute and press the inner corner gently to reduce body absorption.
Side effects
- Burning or stinging
- Bitter taste in mouth
- Brief blurring of vision
- Watery eyes
- Eye redness
Precautions
Avoid in asthma, severe lung disease, very slow heart rate, or certain heart blocks. Remove soft contact lenses before use and wait 15 minutes to reinsert. Inform your doctor about all medicines you take.
Storage
Keep below 25°C, protected from light. Discard 1 month after opening. Keep out of reach of children.
