Imodium is a well-known anti-diarrhoeal from Janssen that contains loperamide. It helps bring sudden bouts of loose motions under control so you can get back to your day with less worry.

Loperamide slows the movement of the gut, giving your body more time to absorb water and salts from food. This makes stools firmer and less frequent.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually with a glass of water. Drink plenty of fluids alongside to stay hydrated.

• Constipation
• Stomach cramps or bloating
• Nausea or dry mouth
• Dizziness or drowsiness

Do not use if you have blood in the stools or a high fever without checking with your doctor. Avoid in young children unless advised. Inform your doctor if symptoms last beyond 2 days or if you have liver problems.

Store below 25 degrees C in a dry place, away from direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.
