Lomofen Plus 20 tab

Lomofen Plus from RPH contains loperamide, an opioid-receptor agonist that acts on the gut without affecting the brain. It is used for short-term relief of acute, non-infective diarrhoea in adults.

• Managing chronic diarrhoea under medical advice
• Easing urgency between toilet visits

Loperamide slows the wave-like movements of your intestine so water has more time to be absorbed back into the body. Stools become firmer and less frequent, giving the gut time to settle.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, swallowed whole with water. Keep up your fluid and salt intake with oral rehydration solution while symptoms last.

• Constipation
• Abdominal cramps or bloating
• Dry mouth
• Dizziness or drowsiness

Do not use if there is high fever, blood in stools, or severe abdominal pain without first seeing a doctor. Avoid in young children unless specifically advised, and tell your doctor if you have liver disease.

Store below 25 degrees Celsius in a dry place away from light. Keep the strip in its carton and out of reach of children.
