About
Montair FX from Cipla combines Montelukast 10 mg with Fexofenadine 120 mg. Montelukast is a leukotriene receptor antagonist and Fexofenadine is a non-drowsy antihistamine. Together they help with allergy-driven breathing and nasal symptoms.
Uses
- Allergic rhinitis (sneezing, runny or blocked nose)
- Watery, itchy eyes from allergy
- Cough and wheeze triggered by allergens
- Long-term control of mild asthma with allergy
- Skin itch linked to allergic reactions
How it works
Montelukast blocks leukotrienes that cause swelling and tightening of airways. Fexofenadine blocks histamine, the chemical behind sneezing, itching, and a runny nose. Together they tackle allergy from two angles.
