Rexigut 200 from Leeford contains rifaximin, a gut-targeted antibiotic that works mostly inside the intestines and is used in certain digestive conditions.

Rifaximin is poorly absorbed from the gut, so it stays in the intestine and acts on bacteria there, helping reduce harmful overgrowth while sparing the rest of the body.

Take by mouth with water as prescribed by your doctor, with or without food.

• Dizziness

Do not use without a prescription. Tell your doctor about severe liver disease, allergies or pregnancy. Finish the course as advised even if you feel better.

Store below 25 degrees C in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight and out of reach of children.
