Avil 25 from Sanofi contains pheniramine maleate, a first-generation antihistamine widely used for allergy symptoms and itching. The lower strength is often used for milder cases.

• Sneezing and runny nose from allergies
• Itching from hives or rashes
• Insect bite reactions
• Mild allergic eye irritation

Pheniramine blocks histamine H1 receptors, reducing the body's allergic response and easing symptoms like sneezing, itching and watery eyes.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, with or without food. Swallow whole with water and avoid driving if you feel drowsy.

• Mild dizziness
• Blurred vision

Avoid alcohol. Tell your doctor about glaucoma, prostate problems, asthma or pregnancy before starting.

Store below 25 degrees Celsius in the original strip, away from heat and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
