About
Diapride M2 by Micro Labs is a fixed-dose tablet of Glimepiride and Metformin. It is commonly used in type 2 diabetes where moderate sulfonylurea support is needed alongside Metformin.
Uses

How it works
Glimepiride, a sulfonylurea, helps the pancreas release more insulin. Metformin, a biguanide, lowers liver sugar output and helps insulin work better in the body. The pair targets two main drivers of high blood sugar.
How to take
Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually with a main meal to reduce stomach upset. Swallow whole with water.
Side effects
- Low blood sugar (hypoglycaemia)
- Nausea, loose motions or metallic taste
- Headache or stomach discomfort
Precautions
Mention any kidney, liver or heart issues to your doctor. Avoid heavy alcohol and never skip meals after a dose. Carry a sugar source in case of a sudden low.
