Metbetic GL2 from Cadila is a stronger combination diabetes tablet with Glimepiride and Metformin. It is prescribed for adults with type 2 diabetes whose sugar is not controlled on a lower-strength combination.
Uses

How it works
Glimepiride boosts insulin release from the pancreas. Metformin reduces the sugar made by the liver and helps the body's cells respond to insulin better. Their combined action gives smoother sugar control.
How to take
Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually with the first main meal. Swallow whole with water. Do not skip meals after taking the tablet.

Precautions
