Gluconorm G2

Gluconorm G2 from Lupin is a two-in-one diabetes tablet pairing glimepiride (a sulfonylurea) with metformin (a biguanide). It is a step up from G1 in glimepiride strength and is commonly prescribed when blood sugar needs a little more help.

Glimepiride nudges the pancreas to put out more of its own insulin, while metformin reduces how much glucose the liver makes and improves the way insulin works in your muscles and fat tissue.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually with the first main meal of the day. Swallow with water and avoid skipping meals.

Tell your doctor about kidney, liver or heart issues, alcohol intake, and any other diabetes medicines you take. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should not take this without specific medical advice. Carry a fast-acting sugar source.

Store below 25 degrees C in a dry place, away from direct sunlight. Keep in the strip and out of reach of children.
