Polaramine 2 10 tab

Polaramine 2 from Encore Healthcare contains dexchlorpheniramine, a first-generation antihistamine used to relieve allergy symptoms.

• Sneezing, runny nose and watery eyes from hay fever
• Skin itching, hives and rashes
• Allergic reactions to insect bites or certain foods
• Symptoms of the common cold

Dexchlorpheniramine blocks the action of histamine, the chemical the body releases during an allergic reaction, which reduces itching, sneezing and swelling.

Swallow the tablet with water as prescribed by your doctor. It can cause drowsiness, so avoid driving or operating machinery after taking it.

• Drowsiness or sleepiness
• Dry mouth
• Dizziness
• Blurred vision in some people

Avoid alcohol while on this medicine. Inform your doctor if you have glaucoma, an enlarged prostate, asthma or are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Store below 25 degrees C in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and out of children's reach.
