Tobramycin binds to bacterial ribosomes and blocks their protein production, which stops the bugs from multiplying and helps the eye clear the infection.

Instil into the affected eye as prescribed by your doctor. Wash hands before use, tilt your head back and avoid touching the dropper tip to your eye or fingers.

• Mild eye stinging or burning
• Temporary blurred vision
• Eye redness or itching
• Lid swelling in rare cases

Mention any allergy to aminoglycoside antibiotics. Avoid wearing contact lenses while the eye is infected. Do not share the bottle with anyone else.

Keep below 25 degrees Celsius, away from direct light. Discard one month after opening even if some liquid remains.
