Ripatec Eye Drop 5 ml

Ripatec Eye Drops from Ajanta contain Ripasudil, a newer eye-pressure-lowering medicine for glaucoma and ocular hypertension. It belongs to the Rho-kinase inhibitor group.

• Open-angle glaucoma
• Ocular hypertension (raised eye pressure)
• As an add-on when other eye drops are not enough

Ripasudil blocks an enzyme called Rho-kinase in the eye drainage tissue, which helps the fluid inside the eye drain out more easily. This lowers the pressure inside the eye and protects the optic nerve over time.

Use as prescribed by your doctor. Wash hands first, tilt the head back, and place one drop in the affected eye. Close the eye gently for a minute. If you wear contact lenses, remove them before use and put back after 15 minutes.

• Mild redness of the eye
• Stinging or burning on use
• Itching of the eye lid
• Blurred vision for a short while

Do not touch the dropper tip to the eye or any surface. Tell the doctor about any other eye drops or eye surgery. Use a different time gap if you are using more than one type of eye drop.

Store in a cool, dry place below 25°C. Once opened, use within 1 month and keep the bottle tightly closed.
