About
Refresh Liquigel Eye Drops from AbbVie (Allergan) are thicker lubricating drops with Carboxymethylcellulose Sodium. They give longer relief for dry, gritty eyes than ordinary drops.
Uses
- Moderate to severe dry eyes
- Burning or gritty feeling in the eyes
- Eye dryness from screen use or air-conditioning
- Comfort with contact lens use as advised
How it works
Carboxymethylcellulose Sodium is a soft, gel-like lubricant. It coats the eye surface, holds moisture for longer and protects the cornea from dryness and friction.
How to take
Use as prescribed by your doctor. Wash your hands, tilt your head back and gently place a drop in the affected eye. Avoid touching the dropper tip to the eye, lashes or fingers.
Side effects
- Mild stinging or burning on use
- Brief blurring of vision
- Watery eyes
- Mild redness in some people
Precautions
Do not share the bottle with anyone. Stop and consult a doctor if eye pain, sudden vision change or severe redness occurs. Remove soft contact lenses before use unless your doctor says otherwise.
Storage
Store below 25°C, away from direct sunlight. Discard one month after first opening. Keep the cap closed and out of reach of children.
