Polynase D Eye Ointment 5 gm

Polynase D Eye Ointment from Ajanta Pharma combines two antibiotics (neomycin and polymyxin B) with the steroid dexamethasone to treat eye infections with significant inflammation.

• Bacterial eye infections with redness and swelling
• Inflammation of the eyelid or conjunctiva
• Post-operative eye care when prescribed
• Allergic eye conditions with secondary infection

Neomycin and polymyxin B kill the bacteria causing the infection, while dexamethasone reduces inflammation, redness and swelling.

Apply a thin strip of ointment inside the lower eyelid of the affected eye as prescribed by your doctor. Wash your hands before and after use.

• Temporary blurred vision after application
• Mild stinging or burning
• Eye irritation in some people
• Rarely, raised eye pressure with prolonged use

Do not use for longer than your doctor advises. Avoid wearing contact lenses while on this ointment. Inform your doctor if you have glaucoma or a viral or fungal eye infection.

Store below 25 degrees C in a cool, dry place. Discard the tube 4 weeks after first opening and keep out of children's reach.
