About
Optibex Tear Drop from Alkem combines Polyvinyl Alcohol and Povidone, tear-substitute polymers. The drops act like artificial tears for dry, irritated eyes.
Uses
- Dry, gritty eye sensation
- Eye fatigue from screens or air-conditioning
- Mild irritation from dust or wind
How it works
Polyvinyl Alcohol and Povidone form a thin, smooth film on the eye surface. This holds moisture, supports the natural tear layer, and eases the dry, tired feeling.
How to take
Use as advised by your doctor or as on the label. Tilt the head back, pull the lower lid down, place one or two drops in each eye and blink gently. Do not touch the dropper to the eye.
Side effects
- Brief blur after the drop
- Mild stinging
- Short-lived watery eyes
- Rare redness
Precautions
Tell your doctor about eye infection, recent eye surgery, or wearing contact lenses. Stop and check with your doctor if pain, swelling or vision changes occur. Do not share the bottle.
Storage
Store below 25 degrees C in a dry place, away from sunlight. Discard one month after opening or as on the label. Keep out of reach of children.
