How it works
Difluprednate is a corticosteroid that quiets the body's inflammatory response inside the eye, easing redness, discomfort, and swelling so healing can progress smoothly.
How to take
Wash hands, tilt your head back, and place a drop in the affected eye as prescribed by your doctor. Avoid touching the dropper tip to the eye or any surface. Do not stop early even if the eye feels better.
Side effects
- Brief stinging or burning
- Blurred vision shortly after use
- Eye irritation
- Rise in eye pressure with prolonged use
Precautions
Share any history of glaucoma, viral or fungal eye infections, or recent eye surgery. Remove contact lenses before instilling and wait at least 15 minutes before putting them back.
Storage
Keep below 25 degrees Celsius, upright, away from sunlight. Discard one month after opening.
