Cyclomid Eye Drop 5 ml

Cyclomid Eye Drop from Jawa Pharmaceuticals contains Cyclopentolate, a medicine used by eye doctors to widen the pupil and relax the focusing muscle of the eye. It is mainly used during eye check-ups and certain eye treatments.

• Widening the pupil for eye examination

• Treatment of certain inflammatory eye conditions (uveitis)
• Before and after some eye surgeries

Cyclopentolate temporarily blocks the nerve signals that make the pupil narrow and the eye focus on near objects. This widens the pupil and relaxes the focusing muscle, so the doctor can see the inside of the eye clearly.

Use as prescribed by your doctor. Wash hands first, tilt the head back, pull down the lower eyelid and put the drop into the pocket formed. Close the eye gently for a minute. Do not touch the dropper tip to the eye.

• Blurred vision and sensitivity to light
• Mild stinging in the eye
• Dry mouth
• Flushing of the face
• Fast heartbeat in some patients

Vision may stay blurred for several hours, so do not drive or do near work until it clears. Wear sunglasses in bright light. Tell the doctor about glaucoma, heart disease, or if the drops are for a small child, as young children are more sensitive to the effects.

Store below 25°C in a dry place, away from sunlight. Keep the bottle tightly closed. Once opened, use within four weeks. Keep out of reach of children.
