About
Brinzox T Eye Drop from Ajanta Pharma combines brinzolamide and timolol. It is used to lower raised intraocular pressure in glaucoma and ocular hypertension when one medicine alone is not enough.

How it works
Brinzolamide reduces fluid formation in the eye by blocking carbonic anhydrase, while timolol, a beta-blocker, also lowers fluid production. Together they reduce eye pressure more effectively.
How to take
Shake well and instil in the affected eye as prescribed by your doctor. Wash hands first and press gently on the inner corner of the eye for a minute after each drop.
Side effects
- Mild burning or stinging
- Blurred vision briefly
- Bitter taste in mouth
- Dry eyes
Precautions
Tell your doctor about asthma, heart issues, kidney problems or sulphonamide allergy. Remove contact lenses before use and wait 15 minutes before putting them back.
Storage
Store below 25 degrees Celsius, away from direct light. Keep upright with the cap closed and discard a month after first opening.
