Cordine DX Syrup from Torrent combines Chlorpheniramine, an antihistamine, with Dextromethorphan, a cough suppressant. It is used for short-term relief of a dry, irritating cough with cold-like symptoms.

How it works
Dextromethorphan calms the cough reflex by acting on the brain's cough centre, while Chlorpheniramine eases watery eyes, runny nose and itchy throat by blocking histamine. Together they quieten the cough and the trigger behind it.
How to take
Shake the bottle and measure the dose with the cap or a spoon as prescribed by your doctor. Use only for as long as advised.

Precautions
