Chupp Syrup from Abbott is a paediatric cough preparation that pairs a mucus thinner, an expectorant and a bronchodilator. It is prescribed for wet, chesty cough with mild airway tightness in children.

How it works
Bromhexine thins sticky mucus so it can be coughed out. Guaiphenesin loosens secretions further, and terbutaline relaxes the muscles around the airways so breathing feels easier.
How to take
Give as prescribed by your doctor. Shake well before each dose and use the measuring cup provided. Encourage extra fluids during the day.

Precautions
